"They" in this instance happens to be Vrenille, so [Kim's head tips to the side a bit in consideration, still with a sense of humour.] I suppose you'd call it a room-and-board type of situation.
Though I do have a salary that exceeds my contributions to the household, of course.
[He could unpack the implications of that, but Zoro would rather pair those questions with a stiff drink. Besides, the fate of these LIERs — whether a glitch in the system or something more sinister — is outside of their control right now. So with a quiet sigh, he shifts on his jail cot, refocusing on the immediate situation.]

I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it would be a part of his calculations when it comes to contract partners. I think he would be more focused on the ways in which he and his contract partner mesh socially.
